I found Dr. Janet on Instagram during my junior year of high school and was inspired by how many students she's helped, especially first-generation and science students. With her support on the SAT and college process, I felt ahead of my classmates. She truly is the best.

About the Author
I am a professor, independent college planner, coach, and speaker with over 20 years of experience in higher education. I have personally coached 200+ high school students one-on-one and helped students access over $5 million in scholarships and grants.
I wrote The Seven Practical Steps to a Debt-Free Degree to share the strategies and lessons I have used with the students I coach. I may not be able to coach every student one-on-one, but I designed this book to feel like I am sitting right beside you, making the college process simple, practical, and easy to follow.
My mission is simple: make higher education clearer, more accessible, and more achievable so students can graduate with confidence and less debt.
